Pediatrics and Pregnancy
I have more than 200 hours of training in Pregnancy and Pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. This training was essential in teaching what to do, but just as importantly, what not to do when adjusting these patients. It includes special nutritional needs and natural aids to help with so many health issues. I learned how to work with complicating factors and the treatment the medical community has for them as well. This helps me educate my patient and work with the medical doctors.
Canine and Equine
I am certified in adjusting the canine and equine community as well. I love adjusting the animals but due to being a mom, I don’t do as much as I used to. I am happy to see them if the vet writes a prescription for the adjustment per our state law. I have adjusted canine agility champions and your family lap dog, from Jack Russell Terriers to Bullmastiffs.
I have extensive training in sports rehab and injuries. This includes extremities such as ankles, knees, feet, shoulders, wrists, fingers, and elbows. I have had patients ready to go to a surgeon until they get that joint adjusted. Keeping all of your joints moving in the correct manner decreases the risk of osteoarthritis in those joints.
