First Few Visits

It is important to know you and your health history so plan on being at our office for close to an hour. On the first visit there is paperwork to fill out. The majority of these forms can be downloaded from this website, faxed or e-mailed to you to save time. We are participating with most insurance companies. It is recommended that you call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card to find out what your coverage is. Make sure that you ask if there is a copay and/or deductible, and what it is. This helps to prevent getting a large bill down later on.

After the paperwork, you go into the room with the doctor for a confidential consultation. At this point if there is any reason we do not think that chiropractic is right for you, we will tell you. This rarely happens, but we will help get you to the correct practitioner. Once we determine that chiropractic is right for you, we do a comprehensive orthopedic and neurologic exam. We will discuss whether x-rays are needed. If x-rays are not needed, you may get adjusted the same day. If they are needed, you may not get adjusted until the doctor can carefully exam the x-rays.

On the second and third visit, you will get adjusted and go over your x-rays. We want you to understand what we are doing and why, so we do take the time to go over all of the findings and discuss any questions you may have. At one of these visits we will discuss your future care plan and goals.
